iPads

This year the 30 full size iPads are located on the second floor, currently in the 4/5 team room. The iPad minis, also 30, will be used on the first floor. It is important that the last user of the day make sure the iPads are securely plugged in at the cart and that the cart is plugged into an outlet. Sign out for each cart is located on the UCFnet page under the UES tab. Use the links in this blog to find out about some of the apps available on the iPads. Throughout the year Mrs. Langdon will review additional Apps adding to the list and updating the blog as well.

Chromebooks

We have a cart of 26 chromebooks that will be located on the second floor. The chromebook allows users to quickly access their Google Apps accounts. Once logged in you are in a browser based environment. Using the chrome browser you have access to all the applications you usually use when in your Google account online. When the lid is closed or the computer is shut down it secures the account of the logged in user. Over the next few weeks tips and tricks for the chromebooks will be shared through this blog.
